Penelope Hope has always loved science. She has studied chemistry, biology, and just about every other sort of science that the small town of Harpswell, Maine has to offer, but her absolute favorite has always been astronomy. The idea of space and stars has got to be the most exciting thing there is. Comets are some of the most fascinating objects to ever streak the sky. So, when she gets the opportunity to travel to Arizona for the summer to study craters with her uncle Marly how could she possibly say no? But there's always a catch. When Penelope gets to Arizona, she gets dragged into working on Marly's horse farm with Ray the annoying farmhand that lives with her uncle. Join Penelope on her adventures in the Arizona heat as she discovers not only craters and catastrophe, but the real importance of knowing you aren't alone in the universe.
