Of course the cobras noticed Courtney now since she was friends with this Kathleen girl, they thought that it would be fun to mess with them since they didn't really know them that well. They all thought Kath was so pretty but she didn't pay attention to them and they didn't wanna seem desperate so one gave the idea to become close with Courtney, that way they would find out weird shit and also be close to Kathy and then in the end can ruin Courtney's life in high school. And I forgot to say, to be honest Courtney didn't even do Tarot reading that often, they just thought so because everyone called her a witch.
