Infatuation is a pretty common sentiment among teenagers. People feel attracted towards each other, become friends, pursue a relationship, break up, or remain together or become friends. they may never do anything about their feelings at all, letting their feelings die out eventually.
Crushes are temporary, obviously, however, once in a while, we come across people for whom we feel something deeper. Something that can not be put to words and simultaneously be fitted in a never ending epic. This poem, displays a very minute fraction of what I have felt. This poem is not about love, it is about attraction felt by one person towards another. An experience that is seldom explored.

Maybe this is another love story. But on the other hand, maybe not. Infatuations, lusts, crushes, falling inlove can be tedious and heartbreaking, most importantly, temporary. Mia knows this; infatuations come and go but what is here to stay is her best friend Ava. Having someone to count on, a shoulder to cry on may seem insignificant to some, but those who never encountered such luck wish for it desperately.
