Soulmate

Veronica O'Bryan has always had a perfect life. She was a smart,well-known, thoughtful, pretty young lady. But in the beginning of 9th grade, things started to change. Her father, a very great and supportive dad, was diagnosed with skin cancer. She would go to the hospital everyday even after school, to talk with him. In the second month of school, he passed away, while she was at school. She became mute ever since and only talked to teachers if necessary. Years past and she has moved on, she is now a senior at her high school.Veronica meets a new kid named Jake Harring. They realize that they have a lot in common and soon become friends. Throughout the year, they have a lot of memories that have been made between the two. They start to have feelings for each other and Jake wants to ask Veronica if she feels the same. But when Veronica finally meets an old guy friend, things start to heat up with Jake and Veronica. She has to make a choice between the two; Jake who has been by her side this whole year, pulling her to do things she would not even dare to do on her own, or Brad, her old childhood friend, who rejected her when she shared her feelings abut him, but is now in her life again to take her back.
