In this Series, i will share with you my personal observations of the journey i took to find the truth and reality/purpose of life. (Most of the thoughts were posted in 2014-2015 by me on my facebook profile)
Starting from my first conclusive article towards shorter thought provoking pieces of text.

How to Find Purpose and Peace: Why Am I Here?
Why am I here? What is my purpose? What is the meaning of life? Why am I alive? It seems that since the dawn of time we have been asking ourselves this very question. Kings and philosophers have puzzled and theorized, and paupers and plebeians toil under the sun wondering if there's more to life. Even today we seem to be frantically running here or there trying to get the latest scoop, wondering if someone has finally figured it out. People look high and low, and they try a number of things only to still feel unhappy and dissatisfied. In my own life, the only thing that has made me truly happy and given me peace for my soul is God. He has been the chief help in combating my anxiety and depression. For me, God has been the foundation that I've placed my life around and have built my identity. I write about how I've found purpose, peace and how you can too! These little hashtags pepper our lives. These are mine and how they represent me. At least that is how I wanted this book to be. It was to be a book of short articles using a hashtag as inspiration. However, it has grown and changed as I have. This book was birthed from my not-so-short social media posts. As I began engaging with people who don't share the same opinion as me, I dug deeper into trying to understand how I decided on my beliefs. I did some armchair research on Street Epistemology. If you haven't heard of it, YouTube it. It will get you to think! I did. I came face to face with what I believed, how I got there, and why. It also forced me to ask whether my beliefs are consistent with my morals and ethics. This book is my contribution to the marketplace of ideas. Hopefully, it stands up to scrutiny. "Am I the doctor or you ? -I gave him a sideways death glare- And I told him, "I'm your wife," He raised his eyebrow side ways and I raised mine sideways too. And he talked again, burning what remained of me, my ears curious to listen to him. He told me to get in the car bluntly. I denied !! This time I wasn't going to listen to him. And he stared at me - his eyes speaking a lot yet they were so quiet. I saw him take a sigh of defeat! He moved up to me, close... closer.... bridging the gap that let air pass between us. Flip Sides Of The Same Coin We Call Life
This romance autobiography is an accumulation of over 15 years of writings. I'm 72 and have experienced many wonderful, beautiful, educational, and enlightening moments. I've also endured the dark night of the soul where nothing means anything, all hope is gone, unrelenting loneliness and extremely deep re-occurring depressions. Flip sides of the same coin we call life. I've survived impossible accidents that should have killed me. I've filed bankruptcy twice, loosing half a million dollars of real estate. I haven't had a car in 10 years, rent a furnished apartment and all I own is a cellphone, television, and computer. I've had 20 different careers. Naming a few, I've been a foreman in a steel foundry, automobile salesman, district manager overseeing a 15-million-dollar territory, owner of a television/appliance retail company, store manager responsible for 80 employees, retail manager in the cellular industry, and a dealer for one of the largest casinos in the nation. Some of the wise decisions I thought I was making turned out to be really ridiculous. When writing these down, I wondered how on earth could I have possibly been that stupid. You'll find many that are quite hilarious. I started jotting down thoughts on a cell phone memo pad over 15 years ago. These writings have turned into eighteen manuscripts. An author has the natural talent to paint pictures with words; I do not possess that skill set. Quite by accident, I've developed into a writer. We are entering into an era of magnificent beauty, perfect harmony, perpetual joy, growing wisdom, pure truth, unending peace and unconditional love. You'll read of miracles that I and others have personally witnessed. There are no other logical explanations for what occurred. I've documented everything as accurately as memory permits. No matter how close you are to them, there are certain things you just don't say. No matter how lonely you feel, there are certain people you just don't befriend. No matter how much you've fallen, there's always a guy you shouldn't give your heart to... Sadly for me, I learnt the last one only after I had gotten my heart broken. They say that you shouldn't look down upon anyone, or you will be put in their situation and made to experience the crisis. The guy who claimed to be bowled over by me, the one with a broken heart. Little did he know, I had entrusted myself to Al Malik, The Owner of me and my heart.
