What if I told you that Clark Kent and Kara Danvers aren't aliens. They are doctors working at Danvers Hospital. They were fostered, Kara did go to the Danvers family and Clarke did go to the Kents. Clarke used to work at the hospital until he was called to an overseas job and never came home. Kara now works at the hospital where she made close friends with a certain someone, Dr Lena Luthor. I don't own the characters but I do own the plot and character development.

"Golly! Where are my manners? I'm Kara! Kara Danvers!" Kara said, beaming at Lena. Lena felt her heart stop at the sheer brilliance of her smile. "I'm- I'm really sorry for what happened out there- I- Mon-El thought it'd be funny to take Winn's wand and- well that wasn't fair and- I'm rambling aren't I?" She laughed. "I'm Lena." Lena said quietly, staring at her lap. "Lena Luthor."

It's been months that Lena and Kara haven't talked. While Kara is broken from the distance between them, not knowing that Lena knows her deepest secret, Lena is already working on her new project. Both of them are heartbroken, trying to move forward while National City is falling apart under the pressure of technology and modernism. She debates it, just for a moment, before following Lena.

Lena is an shy and nerdy student at an highschool in Dublin. All the students have to go on an exchange with christmas. Lena is very nervous about the adventures that are waiting for her. Kara is a student at Wellom Highschool in a little village. She did something wrong. Her 'punishment' is to be a host for an exchange student. Kara is not excited about that but she doesn't have another choice... In the month December Kara and Lena both find out one thing. 'December can change your life.'
