A year ago, monsters crawled out of the shadows and took over the world, enslaving the humans who survived.

Monet Black is part of the Uprising, a resistance movement brewing throughout all the monster-controlled cities. She spends her days dancing for monsters and her nights hunting them.

But when the sorceress who killed her parents shows up, Monet is no longer willing to fight from the shadows. No matter the cost to her, or those around her, she's determined to make the sorceress pay for what she did.

Monet, her brother, and her best friend begin their quest to take down the sorceress, little understanding the power she holds.
