Harry didn't want anything to do with anybody. He wanted to finish high school with straight A's, go to college, be a successful business man, and make lots of money. Simple. That was until a boy comes into his life and changes it forever. Charlie McCloud, football star, popular, and the girls love him, but that all changes when he loses the bet with the team, which if he lost, required him to join the cheer squad instead of playing football that season. Charlie was devastated but thought that he could try and make the best of it, but soon enough Charlie discovers that he actually loves to cheer...even more than football, so that's when the rumors start. Gay. Fag. Diva. You name it he's been called it, as well as been made an outcast by his popular group of ex-friends. When he gets rejected by almost everyone in the school he confides in the one person who he knows won't judge him. Harry. Harry doesn't want friends, let alone the ex-most-popular-guy-in-school. But what happens when the bullying gets bad for Charlie? What about when he can't handle any more? What about when he's just done? One day tragedy strikes. But Harry made a promise, a promise that he was going to prove to the world that guys can cheer too. But then there's Louis. Head cheerleader of Sparrow Wood High School, the cheer national champions for four years straight, and a total diva. He only wants one thing, to take down Rivermont High School in this years nationals, all because of Harry being his sworn enemy. What will Harry do? He only wants to go to college and get a good job to make good money for his family...so where does cheerleading fit into this?
