Disclaimer I wrote this when I was 16, but a million books later imma stick beside it.
This is just a couple things I notice in books that make them difficult to read. I included examples and ways to fix them. Threw in a little humor and if you ignore my grammar errors it's got some great tips. Enjoy!

You must be our new roommate. Nice to meet you, My name's (Y/N) (L/N)." You introduced yourself. "Sup cutie. The names Selever nice to meet you." ............... That's all folks! Here are short stories (really short ones) that I wrote years back. I won't say when I was younger, because it was only three/two years back. However some are very recent. So like say the title don't judge me. Please excuse any grammatical errors, English is not my first language. (I speak French, but I am fluent in English). Hope you enjoy! Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. Update: The first rule of writing is to follow through and edit later. I discontinued this book because it was not well written, it was not planned out, and it was not consistent. Therefore I will continue to write it, for the sake of completion and giving Michael an end (in more ways than one) I will finish this.
