I flinched as the broken pieces fell to the floor.I tried to show no fear but he continuously came closer.My mouth became extremely dry.I tried to run out of the door again but he got there first.

Steven was pulling back on my entire wrist and tears pooled in my eyes just from his grip.

"Your mother...She's....It's back," my father said through his tears as I put the phone to my ear.
I hung up raced to the bathroom and threw it at the wall.He didn't have to explain what it was.I already knew.My mom said she was dying.

"What are these feelings you're talking about?!" he questions still yelling. "That I fucking like you, Daniella Jamie Grey!" I yell. "And I fucking like you too, Arabella May Jhonson!" he yells back. As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face.
