[Caution, "Day of the Doctor" spoilers ahead.]

Gallifrey is falling. The Daleks, looking victorious in the heat of battle with their legion of battle ready soldiers, the indestructible machines powered from inside poised to move in and destroy the Time Lords.

Two rebels emerge from the dust, bags packed and TARDIS' at the ready. Two Time Lords who had never met share the same idea- they're gonna get out and let the rest of their kind burn at the hands of the almighty Daleks.

The Rogue, a loner from the beginning, intends to head to Earth. The Renegade, not quite as sure of her final destination, also heads for the same place.

Then, the Doctor interferes. He saves Gallifrey, pocketing it in some alternate dimension, frozen in time, and lets the Daleks destroy each other in the crossfire.

Unfortunately, the reaction caused by his actions warps the two rebel's plans.

Their respective TARDIS liquefies and melds into their blood stream, making them something else, something more than Time Lord.

The Rogue, crash landing on a foreign beach on Earth, has become the Dimension Dragon as well- both a dragon and Time Lord shapes under her belt and the ability to transfer between the universes.

The Renegade, unsettling the ocean as she enters Earth, has become the Time Tigress too- the forms of a Time Lord and a tiger hers to control. Now, she can travel through time whenever she wishes.

Together, they'll hunt through the galaxies to find the one person who can help- the Doctor.

She's gone. They're both... gone. "The girl who waited and the last centurion," I tested their nicknames on my lips, hoping to get a small flicker of happiness, but I was only met by the weight on my heart doubling. A tear slipped down my cheek that soon turned into a waterfall. They're gone. Dead. The Doctor is heartbroken, devastated after the death of Amy and Rory. His heart and mind opens to the screams of humans on Earth. One stands out, a little girl screaming, "PAPA". Then I heard it. A young girl screaming "PAPA!," a piercing scream, "PAPA AHH PAPA", louder than all the other cries of children or anyone in the world echoing in my mind. Heartbreaking. Even more than I could feel with two hearts. After walking for five minutes in the uniform tree line, I saw a tall fence surrounding an ominous brown building which somewhat resembled a prison. There were no windows, only wire mesh lining the entire building and hard concrete pillars in between. Surely the girl I'm looking for couldn't be in here? The Doctor uncovers a girl with a dark secret, will the Doctor save her or will she drag him down with her so they both burn. First they had to find Eleven. Now they have to find Twenty Two. A dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions. "a catch-22 situation". "Eleven hundred and three!" Amy breathed. "You were nine hundred and eight the last time we saw you. And what does that make you, Cat? Over a hundred by now!" "Two hundred twenty one, actually!" She said with a laugh. "I can hardly believe it!" Amy peered over Catherine's shoulder, her attention grabbed by something else. "Who's that?" She wondered. Catherine looked around, and saw the figure, and though it looked familiar, she didn't mention it. She turned back around. "Who's who?" Amy looked back at Catherine and her worry cleared. "Sorry, what?" "What did you see? You said you saw something." Amy shook her head with a frown. "No I didn't." "Ah, the moon," the Doctor said, turning and laying on his back, his head on Catherine's lap. She laughed and pushed it off gently. He laughed as well. Amy gazed at them again, wondering what happened for one hundred and ninety five years on that TARDIS. ~ Catherine's story wasn't done. Actually, it's far from over. When two blue envelopes with purple stickers appear on the TARDIS doorstep, both the Doctor and the Destroyer know that a war is about to start, and no amount of running will stop what is coming. They can only face it head on and hope that they make it out alive. ~ Second book in the Eternalian Chronicles Disclaimer : I do not own Doctor Who or any of its characters. I only own Catherine Wood, Reid Wood, Tallulah, Garlin, the Eternl race, and any other characters I add along the way. Cover was made using Canva
