When you're the daughter of a prestigious clan of Hunters, it puts a lot of pressure on one's well being.

Miette's a clumsy, unbalanced girl, who has been sent to train at one of the top academies in the country to hone her skills as a hunter. Her family's well-known in the vampiric hunting community, and their legacy counts on her becoming proficient in combat.

Her life takes a turn for the worst when she encounters the paranormal being, Vital, an unusual man, with traits not matching any creature she has read about.

Little does she know that this discovery will impact her life, change her world view, and take her down a long, dark road.
