I heard footsteps behind me making my heart beat ferociously. Turning a right corner whilst picking up speed hoping to lose the person behind me. I couldn't see through the darkness and though there were street lights there was a little amount.
I started to run becoming more scared the louder the footsteps got. I could make out my apartment building a couple hundred metres in front. I started to sprint hoping to outrun my stalker and get home safely but of course luck is never on my side. A car came speeding down the road, thinking I could make it, I ran across though the road and the car started to stop, but not in time.
The car hit my right side and I fell to the ground in pain. I screamed out hoping someone would come and save me. I started to see black dots in my vision and I tried to push myself from the ground but not succeeding. My breathing started to slow and the world started to spin through the black spots. I heard a growl of anger and then blackness overcame me.
