Demons do exist - among us, within us, watching over us, and sometimes in plain sight. They belong in a world concealed from us, by a thin, yet infinite line that defines our basis of existence. The closer both worlds reach towards the line's edge, the clearer their counterparts become.
There is a place where that line is more than just something definitive. It compels co-existence and co-operation between humans and demons through arcane, spiritual... and even mythological affinities. This unity is fundamental to protect their worlds from instability.
However, the ultimate threat lies deep inside the line itself...

Eighteen-year-old Eri Borealis is still coming to grips with her reality; her home is directly connected to a world inhabited by Daímones, plus her new pain-in-the-neck partner, Ivan, is one of them. On top of that, she herself is part of a secret, magic-wielding community that made pacts with these beings, in order to ensure order within the human world along with its demonic and spiritual counterparts.
After spending two years learning about her hidden worlds, she returns to her hometown, Aegis Falls, to embark on an assignment regarding a missing-persons case that had turned into a murder investigation.
Eri's involvement in the case meant the obvious: she is looking for a killer that isn't human.

Oops! I accidentally summoned a demon! When a crazy man threatens her family if she doesn't kill the man holding them all hostage, Eve comes up with her own plan to keep her family safe. What she doesn't expect is that her sacrifice is only the beginning. Update: This began as a #WITWContest challenge, but became a mild obsession as I fell in love with it. It's still a one-shot but is now a not-so-short short-story with all the answers to the questions you had when reading that first chapter. How did she get there? Where did he take her? A female baby's born on the streets with a pair of odd couple; one who's born and raised on the streets and one who's from a royal family who fall for the other and gave the throne to her younger brother who truly loves the country making her to run away and gave her clothing to her younger sister to have to grow up into before she ran and left to be with him. They live happily together and she doens't care for anything else as she wears a torn dress and has shoes with holes in them as they're happy to welcome a daughter into the world. On the streets, you have no last name and need to buy one to get a job and get off the streets. Once the parents die and the royal families shocked at this as the child hides from them. They had money from singing and dancing on the streets to earn it and kept it in a hip purse making her to use some to buy clothing and a three-tie suitcase for her clothing as she paid one thousand to have the last name Ember after she left her old world for her new world. It's called Disney Twisted Wonderland. But will anyone love her as in that world, it's soulmates making her to not know about this as the only way you can know is touching them physically on the hands, but she got five marks making her to be confused to what the markings mean fully as she's not from that world. It's making her to look them up in a book to figure it out, but she didn't expect to have two Beast Kin, a Fae, A Merfolk and a Half-Fae as her soulmates making her to be the only human in the relationship between the five as she's the only one for them all. The two Beast Kins are also soulmates to each other like the Fae and Merfolk are to each other as well, too. How will she handle this as there's also trades you need to do to handle life in the real world. Even though decades have passed, the war between humans and demons still shows no signs of ending. Although the dimensional gates are no more, their existence seems endless due to rapid reproduction. Because of that too, the hybridization of humans and demons is inevitable. These hybrids look like normal humans but, with demonic blood flowing through their bodies cause them to have extraordinary magical powers. Their behavior is the same as normal humans. However, if their hearts are enveloped in darkness, they will turn into complete demons. Since then, magical powers were born and the royal side of the Alliance saw this group as a threat to humanity and called them witches. In order to overcome the extinction of humanity, the leadership of the Alliance created the order of the Witch Hunt to find and kill every witch no matter what they look like. Due to the order, witches rebelled to protect themselves and their loved ones until a civil war broke out. Due to the war, many lives were lost and many witches were enveloped in darkness and turned into demons. Since that day, the human race has suffered greatly. An Endless Cycle (Muichiro X Reader)
So basically, you. Muzan's 14-year-old half-demon daughter (I know it's cliche but bear with me) who he doesn't know even exists, somehow ended up under the suspicion of being a demon, which you were, halfway. And it was decided that you would now be living with the famous insect hashira. Shinobu Kocho. In the Butterfly mansion until they found out whether you were a demon or not after the test they had prepared had failed. And though they would never admit it, they were basically holding you hostage and waiting by to kill you off. You refused quite a bit but you apparently had no say in it. Well, you might've not liked the fact that they were currently holding you hostage to figure out whether you were actually a demon or not before killing you after figuring out that you were a demon like Sanemi so wished to do so. There wasn't, much you could do in this situation. The most efficient solution you could think of to get them to leave you alone for the rest of eternity without spilling any blood was to lay low until their suspicion of you being a demon eventually died down and they allowed you to leave yourself. However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were... This is based on Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler. It's largely an OC thing, but includes several canon characters. Thus, I've named it honoring the anime, and it's full name is "Kuroshitsuji: Seventh Sin." 2. It's one of the first things I wrote on here so it's bound to have a few issues. 3. The structure of the chapters is based on Dante's Inferno/The Devine Comedy. I started this around the same time I drafted "Letters From Iroh," when I was in my first year of college/university. I was reading the book for a Humanities course at the time and writing this helped me to better remember the order of all the layers of Hell and the corresponding sins/punishments/etc. Look at that, anime helped my grade! Kurosaki Ichigo grew up slightly different than most children. With stories of demons, samurai, and a dying culture of shinobi, and odd little games between her and her mother, Ichigo had an... active childhood. Then, her mother dies, killed in front of her, and many things change. One: her family had actually been a shinobi clan once upon a time. Of course, she doesn't really believe it; some weirdo 17 year old with three wives came up to her to tell her this during her mother's funeral. Two: demons do exist. She does believe the weirdo when he tells her this. She's seen one before. And while her mother wasn't killed by a demon that the weirdo fights, it was still a monster and something she's determined to kill. Three: she's about to annoy the ever loving shit out of these Shinigami and this Soul Society. This actually comes much, much later when she discovers that these beings and their Soul Society actually exists. But, it's still a change nonetheless. Being the Tsuguko of the Sound Hashira, Uzui Tengen, would be a flamboyant beginning for a normal person. For Kurosaki Ichigo, it's explosive. And she fucking loves it. - So....
