Demons do exist - among us, within us, watching over us, and sometimes in plain sight. They belong in a world concealed from us, by a thin, yet infinite line that defines our basis of existence. The closer both worlds reach towards the line's edge, the clearer their counterparts become.
There is a place where that line is more than just something definitive. It compels co-existence and co-operation between humans and demons through arcane, spiritual... and even mythological affinities. This unity is fundamental to protect their worlds from instability.
However, the ultimate threat lies deep inside the line itself...

Eighteen-year-old Eri Borealis is still coming to grips with her reality; her home is directly connected to a world inhabited by Daímones, plus her new pain-in-the-neck partner, Ivan, is one of them. On top of that, she herself is part of a secret, magic-wielding community that made pacts with these beings, in order to ensure order within the human world along with its demonic and spiritual counterparts.
After spending two years learning about her hidden worlds, she returns to her hometown, Aegis Falls, to embark on an assignment regarding a missing-persons case that had turned into a murder investigation.
Eri's involvement in the case meant the obvious: she is looking for a killer that isn't human.

However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were...
