Derek is trying to keep everything together but Stiles can see he is suffering. Scott and the rest of the pack are pretending that they aren't terrified but he knows they are. Stiles doesn't have many friends besides Scott, Isaac, Derek, Lydia, and a few others. But lately most of them have been busy with their own lives or supernatural stuff, to busy to talk to Stiles at least.
