Her family gone, her home no longer safe, Alianor is cast into a world she did not understand. Fighting to survive and to save her brother from the shadowmen, she is willing to do everything she can to bring him back. That includes adopting a baby dragon, saving a half elf human, and racing across the lands of Eldrish to save the only thing left that is so dear to her. However as a new force of darkness begins to sweep across the lands and has begun to destroy the Guardians, Alianor will find out she is far more involved in the events then she could had ever thought possible.

After waking up in a mysterious forest, Roan is taken captive by the Mirkwood elves. Afraid she might never get out of the dungeon with a hideous orc as a neighbour, she meets Haldir from Lothlorien in her despair. They get along, and he seems to be the only one who's kind to her. The King of Mirkwood however isn't so sweet and talkative to her as the Lothlorien elf. My 2008 NANOWRIMO project: The Gray is a 'low' fantasy novel in spite of dragons and magic and horror. Giant spells won't be saving the day, and there's no mighty magic swords, in fact most spells aren't even out there in your face, they're implied. The Gray is set in a lone human city in a world where being human is stranger and and less common than being an elf, or almost anything else. Their community is Isolated, and protected by a a group of trained fighters and scouts with specific roles, who give up their own names when they take on The Gray. Walker, one of the scouts of The Gray, accidentally stumbles across signs that their way of life, and maybe even the world, may be threatened, and is quickly forced to face the fact that trying to save his home and people may require loosing them forever.Complete

you where Grand-Daughter to Galadriel and Celeborn, and Niece to Elrond. your father was never mentioned to you when you where young but father was the second son to Galadriel and Celeborn. Your father had left after you where born since he had a child with a human but your mother died when giving birth to you as he took you and left you in Lothlórien, you lived with Galadriel and Celeborn when he left learning various skills of fighting and some of the common tongue but it wasn't your strong point. you wanted to see the world as you where packing your things in your chambers strapping your belt on that had your sword and daggers in a X shape at the back, you dressed in gear that would do for travelling and fighting, you wore the tall knee high boots and hidden daggers in them, and put the arrow holder once your shoulder then wore your dark cloak that was elven made so it protect you. Ever since you where little and your father left, you wanted to explore the world. You then left leaving a note on your bed to tell them before leaving Lothlórien behind.Complete
