Jade is 16 and lives with her father who is a workaholic. Pouring time into Dance and school to ignore the feeling of being alone. After Jade's mother died from cancer when she was 11. Jade and her father were left all alone, with barely any money. 5 years later, Jade's father worked all day and night to provide for him and his daughter. He had become cold, quiet and neglectful. When Jade's father was offered a job with a three year contract, he decides to let her live with an old friend, James Easton. What she didn't know was that James and his wife had five boys. Her mother had died when Jade was born. And it tore her father apart. He now sat at home. Drinking alcohol anytime she saw him. To add to the trauma, her father also beat her. Almost every night. For years since she turned ten. She was a very troubled girl. It wasn't her fault.
