The Stolen Heartbeats

Ashtyn's big brother and Alpha, Sam, has recently died from an allergic reaction. In Sam's will he states that he wants his organs donated; something that his dad is dead-set against. However, Ashtyn ,being the new alpha, decides to follow his brother's finale wishes. However, he makes one request, to meet the people that get his brother's organs. Ivy is a murderer, that's what has been pounded in her head by Brit and Stevie, her new guardians. They may be cruel, but she deserves it. She killed her mother at birth, making her a murderer before she took her first breath. As if that wasn' t bad enough she had to kill her dad while driving him home from the airport. It was her fault; she wasn't paying attention to the road. Instead she was fighting with her dad about finding Brit cheating on her dad with Stevie. Now she is left with Brit, her new husband Stevie, and their abuse. She wasn't left without scars though: she has a scar on her face from the accident, scars scattering her body from abuse, mental scars that leaves her with nightmares and feelings of disgust and hatred towards herself, and lastly internal scars that seek immediate medical health. Knowing that death would be too easy, and that living would be harder than to die, she takes money from her father's account to get a heart transplant. Ivy goes through with the surgery, giving her a new, healthy heart but leaving her even more weak than before. Ashtyn has met with all patients that have his brother's organs and knows that his brother would be happy to see all the lives he has saved. But still, because of his father, he can't get over Sam's death. That is untill he meets the receiver of his brother's heart; a small, fragile, beautiful, perfect, and sad human girl named Ivy. Loking into this beauty's sad eyes the only thing Ashtyn could feel is the need to protect, possessiveness, and love; despite his father's hatred towards her. And the only thing he could think is, Mate.
