This is the story of a boy, a boy you've all probably heard of. However this is not the story you've grown up with. This boy wasn't so much a boy, but not yet a man. He had his childish moments but ruled his land like a fierce and sometimes feared king. His name was Peter Pan.
He was not gentle nor kind to those he had taken in.
I was a girl, the first he had ever rescued. The rescued had always been boys; boys who had seemed to have become lost.
You all have probably hear of Wendy Darling, I'm not her. I came before Wendy. Wendy was simply just a tool of Peters hopes that he could have me returned to him, by creating me through her; a better me. However it did not work, instead she remained her self and simply left Neverland.
Yes, I have grown up, it wasn't an easy choice but I guess I didn't really have one. If I didn't grow up he would have died, the love of my life.
I'm writing this to tell you about the truth of Peter Pan and the girl before Wendy Darling.
Elizabeth Conway was her name, or as Peter called her, Lizzie. This is the passionate and almost deadly truth before the child's story you have come to know.

"Everyone thinks they know my story, the story of Peter Pan and Wendy Darling. The story of a nice little girl, who lives in a nice house, with two nice little brothers and two loving parents. Well lets just say, that's not true. At. All. And the nice boy who never wants to grow up, isn't so nice. And the mean ugly pirate isn't so mean. And I'm not as fragile as I look." This is the true story of Wendy and Peter. When Wendy goes to Neverland and finds out all the innocent little fairytales aren't what she thought, will she want to stay or leave? What does she find out about herself? Why does everything seem to be changing for her? But most importantly, what does Peter think about the girl? This is a ouat Peter Pan fanfic my story has nothing to do with the original ouat storyline. Hope you like it.
