All throughout her childhood Brittany barely knew her father. He was a recovering alcoholic, and worked at a highschool. Her father, as she got older, became better and better. Her parents had been split up since she was in first grade. She was constantly back and forth between the two, which also meant, since fifth grade, back and forth from east coast to west coast.
The beginning of junior year brought her to Beacon Hills to stay. She hated her mother and her father hadn't seen her in years. Brittany just wanted to be a normal teenager, and if moving to the home of the supernatural was what made her seem normal, so be it.
Bobby hadn't seen his daughter in four years, and the insurance money from getting that arrow removed was just enough to bring his daughter home.
