Prince Phillip Micheal Lester I, the heir to the throne is one step away from being king. Set during a time of an absolute monarchy, the king has complete control over the people and government. After a horrible accident, Phil finds his father dead in the most grusomest way. Phil, or King Phillip as he has to be called takes to power. The memory of his father's death haunts his brain and taunts him, making him angry and out for revenge. He keeps these thoughts at bay though, promising to not lash out at his people and instead improve their lives. However, the temptation to be able to do whatever you want, whenever you want still taunts him, begging him to use it, even at the cost of his sanity. Dan is a peasant, or a poor person. He barely is making it by in life and can hardly afford a loaf of bread. He makes very little money from working in fields for landowners and hopes that one day things will get better for him. He used to be friends with Phil before his parents made them part ways. After hearing that Phil has risen to power, he hopes that Phil remembers him and improves his and others people lives and not let the power get to his head. But when tensions between the people and Phil start to rise, he may be faced with taking a stand against a former friend to save England from going down the drain.
