"ADHD, Depression, self-medicated, what else do you want to know?" All I could do was look at his throat, my eyes not wanting to meet up to the dark abyss of his pupils.
His lips tilted into a grin, and I felt cool fingers press against my chin, caressing it before making me look up. Instead of his eyes, I focused on his hair now.
My nostrils flared, feeling the faint scent of weed creep into my lungs from his breath,
"ADHD isn't a sickness, all geniuses have it." I spoke briefly, not wanting to be fully audible as I hoped someone would catch us here. Behind the school, and would immediately assume the worst and call Louis. I watched as his mouth opened wider, giving me a stronger scent of whatever 'self-medication' he was talking about. I closed my eyes, and heard him chuckle,
"Genius... that's a new one."

Lauren Hayes hid behind the mass of fights, despair, and tyrants in her school. Slowly, she became invisible. She went to Harlington High, the school full of whom children refer to as 'bad guys'.
Yet, from what she had seen, the line between evil and good wasn't so clear, as most would think. So she learned to keep her mouth shut.
But she was innocent once, we all were. She used to believe in God, in heaven, in hell, and that she had her life figured out.
She was so wrong.
And the one who started it all, was the farthest person from her mind these days.
To them, he was known as Kevin. To her, he was known as Eden.
And one, unlucky afternoon sends her stumbling into one of his many secrets. And she's stuck, with no way out as he pulls her deeper and deeper.
Until she can't breathe.

"I want to help you." His bright eyes sparkle in the moonlight. "You can't help me! You hurt me!" By now, the tears I had been desperately trying to hold back finally slip out.
"They hurt you!" As he yells, the anger in his voice eases out; his eyes are filled with familiar sadness. "I have nowhere else to go." I shoot back, taking a step away from him, afraid he will strike me as everyone else does. As soon as he notices this, his eyes widen, and his fists relax.
"Come with me." He responds, hope gleaming in his eyes. I look up at the bright moon shining down on us as the breeze ruffles my hair. "Come with you?" I question.
Just as he nods my dizziness takes over, sending me to the ground. His hands wrap around me, barely catching me. "Don't let them hurt me." I whisper, looking into his eyes, trying to not let the spinning world take me.
"They won't hurt you anymore. Ever."
