~Hiatus/Editing/Writing Privately~ "ADHD, Depression, self-medicated, what else do you want to know?" All I could do was look at his throat, my eyes not wanting to meet up to the dark abyss of his pupils. His lips tilted into a grin, and I felt cool fingers press against my chin, caressing it before making me look up. Instead of his eyes, I focused on his hair now. My nostrils flared, feeling the faint scent of weed creep into my lungs from his breath, "ADHD isn't a sickness, all geniuses have it." I spoke briefly, not wanting to be fully audible as I hoped someone would catch us here. Behind the school, and would immediately assume the worst and call Louis. I watched as his mouth opened wider, giving me a stronger scent of whatever 'self-medication' he was talking about. I closed my eyes, and heard him chuckle, "Genius... that's a new one." - Lauren Hayes hid behind the mass of fights, despair, and tyrants in her school. Slowly, she became invisible. She went to Harlington High, the school full of whom children refer to as 'bad guys'. Yet, from what she had seen, the line between evil and good wasn't so clear, as most would think. So she learned to keep her mouth shut. But she was innocent once, we all were. She used to believe in God, in heaven, in hell, and that she had her life figured out. She was so wrong. And the one who started it all, was the farthest person from her mind these days. To them, he was known as Kevin. To her, he was known as Eden. And one, unlucky afternoon sends her stumbling into one of his many secrets. And she's stuck, with no way out as he pulls her deeper and deeper. Until she can't breathe. - Songs, Gifs, and photos are not my own, but the plot, characters, their personalities, and backstories are. All rights reserved. Cover made by atroXit

"Hey have you heard of that new drug?" "Oh yeah, the focus drug?" "Adderall?" "No the one that practically give you eidetic memory." "I hear that it makes you ten times more attractive." "I hear that it has no side effects." "Then it's bull crap and it doesn't work." "No no Teal I'm sure it's real and it does have a side effect. Only one though and it's almost impossible to encounter." "Okay? Spit it out!" "On Heat you should never run into your soulmate." "Oh great then I guess it's perfectly safe because Soulmates don't exist." "According to you." "No, according to science! What happens if you do run into them then?" "No one knows." "Whatever. Sounds bogus to me. Why mention it?" "My cousin has some. She just got it from her doctor." "Uh... I don't think a medical professional should prescribe street drugs." "It's to treat her depression. It gives you purpose or makes you normal or whatever. Anyways I can steal some before midterms. We should try it. One dose lasts a whole month." "We're honor's students. Why would we need drugs to pass? Shouldn't we know that drugs are almost always the way to fail?" "Why just pass when we could graduate early?" "Graduate early? Does it do that?" "That's only the half of it. We'll be on top of the world with it and it doesn't come up on drug tests. Whose in?" I bite my lip. Teal's in the top ten of our year so she can get by on her own. I'm in the bottom half of the honors students. If anything, I need this or I won't be an honor's student for long. "I'm in."
