Note- Ready or Not is written in "script form", as most of my comedies are.
Ready or Not was written in 2015 on the LEGO Messageboards. With the impending shutdown of the boards, I am relocating the story here, so that it can be preserved for anyone who wants to read it. It is one of my later works.
Ready or Not remains unfinished. It is on my continue/re-write list.
This story belongs to me in its entirety. Most of the characters, however, belong to LEGO. Of course nothing is preventing you from writing your own fanfiction about them, but if you copy my story that is not okay.

Lloyd Garmadon has never really been accepted in school. Having your own father run a crime syndicate in your home city doesn't help that, either. Lloyd's lost hope in making new friends. He's perfectly fine with those he has. Yet, when he stumbles across a classmate's lost phone--the very same student who had gone missing the day before--Lloyd's life gets a whole lot more interesting. ~ Aurora is a senior at NCHS. She lives in a Foster Agency with her best friends, where they're known as "boomerangs." Their chosen foster parents are never good fits for them; the teens return home a mere few days after leaving the agency. As a result, Aurora has given up on adoption. Now, she's just ready to graduate and move out along with her friends. However, that all comes to a halt when she suddenly goes missing. Scared for her well-being, her friends do all that they can to find her, yet it seems that they'll be needing more help from some familiar faces... ~~~ !! WARNING !! Aurora and her team find themselves in a peculiar situation. For months, the vigilantes had been struggling to fight against an uncharacteristically coordinated group of criminals. The mysterious organization targeted numerous villages at the same time, forcing the heroes to stop only a few of the many attacks. Unwilling to let the fight draw on for any longer, Aurora and her friends decide to take a different approach: to hunt down the gang's elusive leader and expose his identity, destroying his gang from the inside. To do so, the vigilantes must attend an event hosted by their foes themselves: a masquerade. Yet tracking down a crime boss is easier said than done. As Aurora and her friends navigate through the party, hidden within crowds of innocent and guilty, they soon learn that gloating isn't the event's only purpose.
