When twenty-six-year-old mute girl Alice Yeller moves in with her great-aunt because of "employment issues", she realizes that moving to London with no voice was a lot harder than it made out to be. It was even harder with the noisy neighbor that bothered Alice constantly. Alice loathes her neighbor, Sherlock Holmes, with every particle of her being. Will Alice grow to tolerate, or even like the detective, or will her feelings continue to be nothing but hate?
