Meet Chastity Dawson.
She's the most popular girl in their school. Captain of the cheer squad, president of the student council, and a straight A student. She's the busy student that everybody likes. That guys fall in line to have. She's the kind of girl that turns heads when she walks in a room. She's popular, hot, rich and smart. She's the perfect daughter, every guy's dream and every girl's envy. She has everything. Or so everyone thinks.
Inside, she's fighting her own demons. She's dealing with more pressure than she can handle. So much so that she could barely enjoy her adolescence. She's so busy that she barely have time for herself. Fortunately, nobody notices how tired she's getting. Or so she thinks.

Meet Jared Brant.
He's the school freak. The emo with a dark past.
He doesn't care about what anyone else thinks. He has a knack for trouble and fighting.
For him, he only has one reason left to live. His younger brother in the hands of his drunk and battered mother, and his jerk abusive step-father.
Harvey, his younger brother, is the only reason he's still fighting to live. He's the only one who can protect Harvey. Other than him, Jared has nothing left to live for.
He just goes through everyday, wanting it to end. He's waiting for the day that he's old enough to live on his own and take Harvey with him.
He's no longer capable of hoping for the better as long as he's in the hands of his incompetent mother and his emotionless step-father.
He never expected anything good to ever happen, until he finds sanctuary with music.
And then, he catches the attention of the most popular girl in school.
