Fifteen year old Blaire Stilinski knew that going with her twin brother Stiles and their friend Scott to find a dead body in the woods was a horrible idea, but she was enticed by the sense of adventure that the situation called for. After all, everyone knew that nothing bad ever happened in the small town of Beacon Hills. But there was a lot more in the woods that night than just a dead body, and soon even more people would wind up dead.
Soon the secrets fueling this town will be revealed and with a murderer on the loose, the teens in this town are faced with decisions that could mean life or death for them and for everyone they love. But every time they turn around there's something or someone new to be afraid of, and they'll have no choice but to work together to stay alive. And for Blaire she finds herself doing something she never could have anticipated: she starts falling for the enemy.
But now it's time to make a choice: to be the hunter, or to be the hunted?
