The tension between them comes to a head when Megumi, after much internal conflict, visits Yuji's dorm to talk about what happened. Though he struggles with expressing himself, Yuji's patience allows him to open up, leading to a conversation where Megumi admits he didn't hate the kiss-and maybe, deep down, he didn't mind it at all.
