Are you a ride or die chick? How far are you willing to go? What are you willing to do? These and many more were questions I wish someone had asked me before I began this journey. I wish someone had taken me aside and explained things to me. But if that had happened I wouldn't be here to tell you this story, and perhaps keep you from some of the same heartbreak I have suffered. I want to tell you this was all bad, but that would be a lie. It's not all bad, there have been some amazing moments, but all in all, I don't think I would wish this on my worst enemy. And for me that says a lot. I can tell you now, if given the option to do this over again, I don't think I would, I don't think there was enough good in this to overcome the bad. Who knows, I learned a lot, more than I would have ever thought possible, and maybe that's what my journey was meant to be about. But let's start at the very beginning shall we?
Based on actual events, this story takes us on the journey of one woman's experience with the prison system and her relationships with men inside. Names have been changed to protect the innocent.
