Deep in the forests of California, there was a secret government base, few knew the location. We had discovered the way to make a retrovirus, or a cure to any disease in the world, the ingredients were all there, except the special chemical to give it life wasn't ready, so it gave life to the Necrovirus, a virus that kills, then links the person to a hive mind, so they're controlled by one person. Six survivors then band together. We follow the POV of the overseer of the secret lab, but the question arises, will they survive? Or will they fall to the Necrovirus, and become Sentients, like the rest?
