Barcelona Diary

Aiko is 15 and just moved to a new school in Barcelona. She is the daughter of a successful Japanese businessman and has mostly lived in a closed world of Japanese friends and culture. In her new school she is confronted with problems of fitting in, horrible teachers, and feeling alone now that her girl friends have moved back to Japan.

After two months in her new school Aiko has developed a major crush on a Georgian boy, Patrick, who, like her, is a new arrival at the school. He is smart, incredibly cute, and popular and seems out of reach for her. Little does she know that he is attracted to her.
