"Wait! You can see me?" He asks with wide eyes. I roll my eyes at his stupidity, is he high or something? 

"Of course I can see you, you idiot!" I say with annoyance lacing my tone. He looks at me with bewilderment at me as if I just grew another head. 

"How can you see me?" He says, with the same bewildered look in his eyes. I huff in irritation. 

"God, what type of shit have you been drinking, dude? Yes, I can see you, what's the big deal in that?" I say as I place my hands on my hips. 

"This can't be possible. You shouldn't be able to see me." He says as he shakes his head. 

"Why?" I say, completing this drunken game he's playing.

There was no one else in the room. I closed my eyes and rubbed them furiously. There was still no one else in the room. My eyes widened slightly as I looked at him, realization dawning on me. 'You can see me!' I gasped. It wasn't a question. It was statement of disbelief but that didn't stop the idiot from replying. 'No, I'm talking to the other stalker ghost behind you.' He muttered sarcastically. 'You can see me!' I screamed in amazement, too distracted to realize he insulted me. 'Sweet heavens! He can see me!' 'I think we've already established that baby doll.' His condescending tone coupled with the patronizing look that had "you are crazy" written all over it was enough to snap me out of the temporary state of euphoria. __________________ Four little words. Who would kill a guy? As I was proceeding with my thoughts, that hoodie guy turned his face towards me. My heart had a mini heart attack. I turned my heels to the opposite direction and started to run. 'Run Ella, run for your life' was what my mind was screaming to me. I took turns without thinking, that guy was now following me and guess what? I took a wrong turn and which ended up being a dead end ' You are so dead' I thought. So, I started to think what I said last time to the people I love. 'Good night mom, love you.' to my mom, 'Stop annoying me! I'm going to bed.' to dad which also mean I love you, 'See you later Lu, love you!' to Luana. Okay my good bye says I love them all. Now I can die in peace. Granddad I'll meet you soon in the heaven, if you are there. I was still in my deep thoughts until I saw his silhouette. As, he get closer, my heart begin to race faster. I closed my eyes, until I heard him say "Ella?" O to the M to the G, this person actually knows me. I opened my one eye and saw him due to the small light hanging in that ally "Errrrr'ick!" "Let me leave" I growl trying again but he does it again, I quickly step the other side successfully getting round him. "CHARLIE!" His screams were getting closer until I saw him completely. I grabbed the knife and pointed it straight at him. "Get away from me!" The knife flew across the hallway and he was on top of me. "Thomas please let me go. I don't want to be here. Please." I say begging "You're ruining everything. It was so perfect and special just for you and you're ruining it." I can tell he was sad but more pissed off this anything. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! He roughly picks me up and drags me to the room. He yanked me away from him making me fall hit my knee on the hard wood floor. But he held me firmly, his eyes filled with concern and love. "Please, calm down. You scared me when you fell into the river. I thought I had lost you," he whispered, his voice breaking with emotion. I stopped struggling and looked into his eyes, seeing the pain and fear that I had caused him. I then looked down as I said, "I thought I'd make it easier for you." His face paled. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. I took a deep breath and confessed, "I never wanted you to fall in love with me." I say. He looked at me in shock, his grip on my shoulder loosening. "Why would you say that? Why would you think that would be easier for me?" he asked, his voice filled with confusion and hurt. I closed my eyes, unable to meet his gaze as I replied, "Because I don't deserve your love. I'm not who you think I am." He sat there in silence, processing my words. And then, without warning, he leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips. I pulled away, stunned by his action. "I don't care who you think you are. I love you, for you dumbass," he said.
