Philip's life is a mess. His parents recently got into a nasty divorce, splitting his family in half. Philip went with his father, while the rest of his siblings stayed with their mother.
Philip had always secretly longed to be an only child, but not like this.
Philip struggled with balancing middle school and his home life as he adjusted to living as an only child with his emotionally unbalanced, but loving father. He feels ready to give up.
Then one day, he meets an angel.
His name is John Laurens.
Modern AU, since that's easier to write. Will contain mentions of Lams. This probably isn't going to be a very happy story.
Also I'm not sure whether to tag this as fanfiction or historical fiction.
