Laina and Josh are young and in love. Everything is perfect, until Josh starts going through a tough time, and surprisingly kills himself. Laina is hurt. She wants answers, but has no one to answer them. Everyone wonders why Josh would do such a thing. His life was as good as it gets.

Laina is on a mission to discover the story behind Josh's death. When she does discover the unknown truth, she is devastated. Little had she known, Josh wasn't as perfect as he made himself out to be. His dad had secrets, and when he found out those secrets, he lost himself and was never the same again. The only option he had was to end his life, as much as he didn't want to leave Laina by herself, he had no other choice. He couldn't live knowing such a horrible thing about his father.

Will Laina be able to survive on her own, or will she take the easy way out, like Josh?
