"This has nothing to do with you. In fact, you're probably the only thing that's kept me alive this long." When Taylor Rutherford wakes up one morning to news of her best friend purposely jumping off a bridge, she can't even begin to process her grief. When Jamie's older brother, Jack, comes to give her a letter from Jamie, it's all she can do just to keep herself together. Together, Jack and Taylor will embark on one last trip with Jamie; for one last purpose. To say goodbye. I wrote this when I was dealing with a death in my family. Writing is my way of processing, and this story meant the world to me.

A series of goodbye letters written over the course of a month, to her dying lover in the hospital waiting room. ************ Amelia is a girl who lives in her bubble, surrounded by the friends she has known since kindergarten, is an avid reader and writer and believes in never doing something too spontaneous or out of her comfort zone. She likes certainty and rules. "J" is an enigma. He comes off as the guy who gives off the guy-next-door vibe, the clean cut loyal friend with a hidden flirtatious side. But behind those thick wayfarers are stormy grey eyes that hide a thunderstorm of secrets, lies and an entirely different world of double identities.
