At the latest, since Mason Lirwood noticed weird things happening around him,he is suspicious and often anxious. Waking up in a hospital, with everyone laying in a koma does not make his anxiety any better. This incident catches the interest of the Yesterfield University of the Extraordinary Arts (short YUEA). But what if, to all those strange things happening, he also has family problems? What is his mother keeping from him and what secret does he feel the need to hide, even from himself?

Collateral Damage is, at first, a slow burner that explores the inner thoughts and lives of the two main characters as it introduces the world they inhabit. The story slowly introduces hints and references that the reader can piece together to get the grander picture at play. It ramps up as you keep reading with more action and drama until it is too much to bear. Can you spot the twists before they come?
