Twelve years ago, Eurich Aurion was the sole survivor of a mystifying fire. Today, he's a high school student who lives a delightful, yet unremarkable life in Roanoke, Virginia. Eurich is perplexed by these new happenings, but soon learns the astonishing truth about himself. That he is from Samsera, a magical world with six moons. He's also the descendant of a powerful god. 

Graduation is around the corner and it's life as usual-until extra moons start appearing. They're coming from Samsera and they're coming because of Eurich. He might not know what will happen if more show up or how long it will take, but he knows one thing-he'll have to go home to fix it.

The Elder Druid, consumed by envy, plotted to steal the witches' power. Spreading lies about their wickedness to mortals, the Druids convinced them that only witch burnings could lift the curse. The Elder Druid's greed knew no bounds, and he sought the Goddess's book, whispering more falsehoods about the witches. Fear gripped the land, and countless innocent men and women were burned at the stake until the witch hunts finally ceased in the late 17th century. The two High Strega, the last of their kind, devised a plan to protect their magic and revive the Witchline. The Goddess revealed a prophecy: when a daughter of Dark and a son of Light possessed the book, the Witchline would be restored. They separated, hiding their true power and passing the book from one High Strega to another across generations. Until now...

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. Except the auras are actually cursed, which messes with the human's powers, and now auras have become synonymous with curses and aura-having humans face heavy persecution. Skye Everson, the afformented chosen one protagonist, is one of these aura-havers, and she has ice powers. For a long time, she had idolized mages and wanted to hone her skills so she could become a mage herself. The problem? Aura magic is no longer legal. Fortunately for Skye, she gets kidnapped by a secret society that trains mages illegally, and may now have a chance to live out her dreams as an ice mage.
