"What do you mean, Brooke?" I asked with confusion clear in my features. That just didn't make any sense. I wasn't hiding from anyone or anything. Where would she get that kind of idea? "I do-"

With a loud thud, I crashed into something hard and rough and toppled over backwards. Xenia gasped and Brooke cursed under her breath, but as I looked up, I froze still in my tracks.

Meet Felicia Myers, your average, everyday girl. Her life is absolutely simple. Nothing is special about her. She has her group of friends, who are, albeit wonderful in every way, normal people. Her family is plain, her life is plain, Felicia is plain.

Now meet Dennis Taylor. He's rough on the edges, that's for sure. With the dark features and calm air, he's not very approachable. He and his friends are hardly ever seen apart, but he still seems so indifferent to everyone.

They both have a few secrets, though. When Felicia winds up in a music store unwillingly, what will they learn about each other?
