"I put you in danger Eleanor. You could have gotten hurt or worse, killed"
"But I'm not. A little cut on my forehead isn't a big deal. I'm still alive and breathing." I grinned

He chuckled and shook his head. "There's something about you..."

"I hope it's a good thing. Because if it's a bad thing, I will have to shoot you" I joked. He finally smiles and turns to look at me.

"If you shoot me, then you won't have that second date" he winked.

"Damn it!" I pretend to pout. "I guess I'll just have to keep you alive then"

"So you want to? Go on a second date?" his eyes twinkled.

"Well you just got to prove to me that it'll be worthy to go on a second date. Something to look forward for you know"

"I can promise you that on the second date, it won't end with car chase and shots fired" he grinned. I laughed. I thought about it for a bit. Maybe I'm not too messed up for him. Maybe it won't be so bad. I can handle guns and fight men, I'm sure I can handle heartbreak.
