Funny Book Trailer: https://youtu.be/A2qlctVxpJw

Would you like a couch with that painting?

Obscurity is a way of life for Gavin Vonn Getch, a painter who works at a frame shop in a small New England town. His life changes when billionaire Gary Eastman enters his shop and becomes the ultimate patron: a lifetime commission for all his work in exchange for a crap-load of money.

Some of his artist buddies envy him and others think he's sold out. Curious as to where his paintings are being displayed, he makes a trip to the DLC headquarters, where a shocking discovery forces him to reevaluate his deal with Eastman and his identity as an artist.

Why does an artist create? What alternatives are there to completely selling out? Is there no genius-only marketing? The book is a satirical, and sometimes surreal look at the art world.

OK, I kind of went nuts.

Along with my book called Artifice, I'm including the 6 hour audio book on Wattpad. Since the book is written in first person, it made sense that I narrate the whole shebang. Instead of me doing bad versions of other character voices, I used more than 40 other voice actors to read all the other parts. But first watch the animated book trailer that was created from the audio book to get a better idea of what this project is all about. This is all in the video attached to chapter 1. The book is finished, I'll probably be posting 3 times a week for 40 chapters.

Deimos Alexander, a hyper ADHD 20-year-old, was shocked when he realized that a new business had opened up across the street. He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist. Trigger Warning: While this book is a majority fluff there are a few angsty bits that face some grim topics including child abuse, dangerous parents, alcohol abuse, homophobia, transphobia, and harassment. This story includes quite a bit of swearing as well (blame my trucker dad for that) so viewer discretion is advised. No Smut whatsoever in this book. (I love y'all but I'm not putting my ace ass through that torture) If you have an idea for a cute date between characters, a friend group excursion, etc. please comment. I will either try to incorporate it in the story itself or make a oneshot book. NOTE: There is no specific schedule. While I will try and update once a week I am still in school and I'm both a part of the theater program and dance team so updates might be inconsistant.

One day you're happy, and the next, a freak accident exposes your boyfriend's dirty little secrets in the worst possible way. I lost the man I loved, my trust in people, and my home in less than one afternoon. At least I know that I've pushed past unimaginable pain before, and I can do it again. Elijah didn't break me, just my heart. 💔🔨 So, the LAST thing I needed was to run into my ex's best friend, Gray on the street. Who cares if he's hotter than lava? Gray's a cocky jerk who seems to get a misguided kick out of making my blood boil. And did I mention the guy's got a chip on his tattooed shoulder even bigger than his inflated ego? Unfortunately, I just found out that I accidentally hired him to work on the BIGGEST campaign of my career!💀 But when Gray's prismatic eyes fill with heartfelt apologies, I don't know how to feel. It's messing with my mind, my career, my new friendships, and worst of all, it's hurting what's left of my ruined heart. I thought Gray hated me, but I was wrong...There is something much, much stronger that binds our fate. 🥊💕 This book contains adult themes (aka sexy stuff and trigger content) as well as Oxford commas and the occasional grammatical error. 🥊💕 **This is a complete story that I am currently in the process of editing, so feedback, notes, and helpful comments are always welcome. His eyes narrow into slits, "Don't you dare-" "What do you call a fish wearing a bowtie?" Instantly, Sawyer frowns, an unimpressed expression on his face. I smile, grabbing his cheeks and squishing them, "Don't make that face!!! C'mon, you gotta ask!! What do you call a fish wearing a bowtie?" He glares at me, "We're not doing this shit, Mari-" "Yes, we are!!" I let go of his face, "You ready?!!" "No." "I'm gonna say it." "You better not-" "SoFISHticated." "You're a dumbass." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Slow Burn, Lengthy Chapters, Long Story* This Story Takes Place in 2023-2024 Marianne Parker and Sawyer Cortez are complete opposites of each other. Marianne is a dad joke loving, talented musician who believes in finding the good in everything around her. Always smiling, laughing, kind to everyone, and an optimist. With a bubbly attitude and an outgoing personality, she's always looking to make a new friend. An all-around ray of sunshine. Sawyer, on the other hand, is a sarcastic, blunt, rude, and pessimistic bookworm. He doesn't believe there could be good in everything. He doesn't smile, doesn't laugh, and isn't interested in making new friends. Let alone, socializing. Hell, he BARELY tolerates his own friends. The total definition of a raincloud. Marianne's looking for a fresh start, and Sawyer wants a normal year of high school. When he meets Marianne, it becomes all too clear that there's something about her he can't ignore. From the way she walks, talks, laughs, and smiles, it's all distracting and unfamiliar to him. And, of course, he doesn't like that. In his efforts, he tries to ignore the feelings and avoid HER at all costs. But, that can be hard when the girl in question is EQUALLY interested in him too. Started August 2023 - ????

Highest Ranking: #1 in Humor [FEATURED, SEPT-OCT] An idealistic poet refuses to budge from the last parcel of land a developer needs to acquire in order to build a shopping mall. (Literary satire with pop culture references and environmental themes.) synopsis: The Myth of Wile E. is a riff on the modern obsession with fame and acclaim, as well as a mediation on the artist's place in the modern world, as seen through the eyes of a naive poet who is made simultaneously pathetic and heroic by the pursuit of a singular goal. In this novel, we meet an assortment of eccentric monomaniacs, from mushroom hunters in search of a legendary truffle, to birders pursuing a possibly-extinct bird, to competitive Duck Stamp artists, to "the World's Foremost Living Statue"...and even a very stubborn spider. Meanwhile, our narrator--a terrible, yet persistent, poet--battles a ruthless land developer who's determined to acquire the poet's humble property, in an escalating battle of wills that spirals out of control when the media gets involved. With these quirky events as a backdrop, we gradually learn of the misfortunes that befell each member of the poet's family in their various misguided quests for glory. We also learn why money makes the world go flat, why talent is a white elephant, and what it means for parents to love their children "to pieces." Some of my influences are Richard Brautigan (especially), Christopher Moore, Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, and George Saunders, so if you like any of them, I hope you'll enjoy this, too.

"What voodoo stuff did you give me, you Bokor?" The tunnel that his loud shout created in my ears is not far from competing with Laerdal tunnel. I frowned at him and gave him a pouted angry scowl. "That is called a charm. A charm is an object that can help you with your wishes." "My wish was to win the bid for the project. Then why did my opponent win it?" Huh? His opponent won the bid. Shit! Did I mess up again? Not possible right?! Someone did win the bid so the charm did work its part. I looked at the angry handsome devilish gentleman and scratched my head awkwardly. "Your wish was to win the bid. You did not say who should win the bid. So, the charm did its magic, you cannot blame me for your incomplete explanation." Looking at the man before me, if I weren't a beautiful, adorable and an attractive girl, he would've surely stomped me a hundred feet into the ground. Too scary! Zephyra Quinn Virelle, Quirky, goofy, and always a little bit out of sync, she was a descendant of an ancient tribe, skilled in creating amulets with unexpected results. Intended to bring health, love, or fortune, she somehow always manages to give away the wrong one-creating chaos wherever she went. Despite her constant mix-ups, her warm heart and wild charm made her impossible to resist. Idris Cruz Valen, billionaire business mogul, was the definition of control and precision. He didn't believe in magic or fate-until a quirky fortune teller handed him an amulet that would change his world, whether he liked it or not. Follow the journey of a misshaping modern magical magician and ruthlessly principled business mogul, filled with chaos, a little love, a bit of fun, a great level entertainment and a lot more... chaos. ~*~*~*~*~*~

I swear you'll find it. Sunshine McBright is the epitome of happiness and positive energy. Even her name says it all. She's simple minded and detached from reality most of the time. They are opposites in every way but Greyson will do anything to leap that gap between them and make Sunshine his. Forever. -excerpt- I was sitting quietly in the middle of Central Park when suddenly a flower appeared on my vision. I looked up and saw a redhead smiling widely at me. My hoodie obscure half of my face so I doesn't know if this strange woman saw my flat expression. "I am sorry. I've been staring at you for a while which I know was totally creepy but I swear I am not. I notice that you look lonely and sad so I picked this flower and hopes that your day will become a little bit lighter." She pushed the flower a little so I was forced to take it. "Huh you're still not happy. Wait please." The redhead run towards a bush that has a sign that clearly said "Don't pick any flowers. Fine $50." After she picked a handful. She runs back to me. "Here." she offered the newly stealed flowers to me. "oh I also have a chocolate bar. do you want one?" The only thing that's running on my mind was who's this strange woman and can I take her home? In celebration for Halloween: A story with a tiny bit of strangeness, some silly humor, clichés, a cat, monstrous rats, annoying neighbors and their annoying dogs, an inescapable apartment building full of zombies, starter weapons, oldies music, ridiculous drawings, injuries and deaths. What do you get when lack of sleep turns you into a raving lunatic? The most embarrassing moment of your life. Lyrical Lyrical Rodgers lives a simple life. She manages a pet store, has a fantastic family, a great best friend (you only need one), and lives in the apartment of her dreams. Well, the dreams she can afford. The only dark spot in her rather happy life is her new neighbor. He's a jackass, parties all night, and has no regard for anyone other than himself. He's also sleeping with the building manager, so he's no help. Nixon Nixon St. James is successful, wealthy, good-looking, and comes from a great family. On paper, he's a fantastic catch. In person, he could benefit from a semester-or two-at charm school. A prominent architect and real estate developer, Nixon has it all...uh, his temper notwithstanding. Apart from his penchant for going off the rails every now and again, Nixon really has no complaints. When jumping to the wrong conclusion does its thing... After Lyrical unleashes weeks of sleep-deprived anger on her new neighbor, she heads over to her best friend's apartment (one floor above hers) and tells her all about it. However, as she goes into further detail, it starts to become clear that she may have cussed out the wrong person. After Nixon gets the verbal lashing of his life, he's not sure which issue to address first. How does he convince the angry spitfire that he's not gay, not straight pretending to be gay, or not gay and having an affair with his brother? I mean, he's been accused of a lot of things in life, but this? This is crazy. Good times. NOTE: This book contains adult language, adult situations, explicit sexual encounters, and an imaginary trip to Minneapolis. If sensitive to any of the aforementioned issues, please do not purchase.
