Lucy Heartfilia is the illegitimate third princess of the kingdom of Fiore. Her entire life she was trained as a knight rather than a princess, and now she is the admiral of Fiore's royal army. One day, she is wounded while on a mission and ends up being rescued by the prince of Edolas, Natsu Dragneel. The two of them decide to go on an adventure together when Lucy's father, King Jude, disowns her and tells her if she comes back to Fiore, she will be killed. Will this new duo be able to defeat the evil that they come across soon after embarking on their adventure? What will happen when rivals go from friends?
