Great things don't come around too often for photographer Harry Styles. He lives with his best friend, model and art student, Zayn Malik and Zayn's friend, Niall Horan in New York City. Harry has a bad past that has scarred him forever and left him with a secret he hasn't told a soul, not even Zayn. Above all, he doesn't believe in love.
As for dancer Louis Tomlinson, great things come around more often than not. He lives with his best friend Liam Payne in New York City, sharing a small, two bedroom apartment for which they can barely pay the rent. Louis comes across as an open-minded, genuinely happy person. Though his thoughts begs to differ. Louis has a dark past and he isn't quite ready to let it go just yet. He's never experienced true love. Therefore, he doesn't believe it exists.
Harry has a college assignment to photograph Juilliard's dance department, where Louis and Liam are enrolled. When Harry and Zayn arrive, they find Louis and Liam dancing on the main stage. Harry can't take his eyes off of the smaller boy. But he has seconds thoughts about the boy when him and Zayn get home that night, partly due to Zayn pestering him about his obvious attraction to Louis. They keep returning, assignment or not and Louis, as well as Liam, don't seem to mind a bit. But will the boys' dark and secretive pasts keep them from going any further than staring and fantasizing? Will Harry share the secret he's kept from even his very best friend for years? Will Louis finally find out what true love really is? Most importantly, will Harry finally come across something great?
