"Mr. Aman," the doctor said, "your mother had a brain tumor likely due to stress. We removed it, but she's critical. The next 24 hours are crucial." Aman felt his world collapse. Sarah needed to see the damage she'd caused. "She will pay for this," he muttered. ________ A year later, Sarah's gaze settled on the figure she despised most-Aman "Aman..." "My mother's in a coma, fighting for her life,Because of you" " I'm so sorry about your mother. I didn't know..." "Don't fake your tears, Sarah. You'll pay for your actions." -------- One morning, Clara's eyes fluttered open. "Mom! You're awake!" tears of joy streaming down Sarah face But Clara stared at Aman in confusion. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaky. The doctor said "She has amnesia. Sarah's presence could help her regain her memories." "Sarah's a bridge to her memories?" "Yes," the doctor confirmed. ------ Clara asked Sarah to narrate a story. "Once, there was a girl dearly loved by her parents, especially her mother," Sarah began. "Her life was filled with laughter, but everything changed when her mother passed away." Clara asked, "What happened then?" "Her father grew distant and sometimes punished her unfairly," Sarah continued. "One day, he called her into his study and insisted she marry Austin to secure her mother's shares, which were under him." "Did she agree?" Sarah said. "But after the wedding, Austin tormented her, calling her names and accusing her of being a gold digger." "Why?"
