Life is going well for Cara Jenson. She's doing well in school, has a great group of friends, and the best thirteen year old sister anyone could ask for. Well, until things aren't fine anymore and her little sister Kailee starts showing signs of change. What first starts off as minor, ends up spiraling out of hand once Kailee turns fourteen and only Cara sees that there's something wrong with her. Deep, hidden pain coming from somewhere that only Cara could help her figure out. **** Now, it was Wednesday afternoon and Cara was headed over to her sister's Middle School to meet her. Once she reached the entrance, Kailee wasn't there. After waiting around for a couple of seconds, thirty max, Cara went into the school, automatically seeing Liane coming down the hallway towards her. Once the two girls were a few feet away from each other, Cara said, "Hey, Liane?" Liane looked up. "Is Kailee at her locker or something? Have you seen her?" Liane frowned, her face full of confusion. "Um... no. She didn't come in today." Cara's eyebrows went up. "Oh?" Then where could she possibly be? "Um, right. Okay, thanks." Cara started to leave, but Liane stopped her. "Oh wait. Um, can you tell Kailee to call me please?" "Uh, sure." Liane smiled her little kid smile. "Thanks Cara. Bye." "Bye." Liane rushed off. Now, Cara was in a full state of confusion. Why wasn't her sister in school? What could she do? She decided to go back outside, knowing her mother was waiting by the sidewalk. What greeted her at the entrance of the school, caught her totally off guard. ***** **Message I'd like to give a personal s/o to @Sophie841 for creating this cover for meComplete
Saved
She....I....... I was running through the thick branches, pushing the leaves out of my way with all my might. I had to get away. The wet, brown, ground made it easier for me to slip and let her red, chilling hands slip around my innocent, scarred body, not knowing where she would take me next. I was almost out of breath, but I had to keep running if I wanted to make it out of this forest alive. My red dress was getting torn to shreds, and my hands and feet had mud all over them. My long, bushy brown hair was getting hooked on every possible branch, making me push my hair in the back of my dress, just like I used to when I was forced to cook everyday for my loathsome 'parents'. Returning back to the real world, I had to stop otherwise I would black out. I took a few seconds to catch my breath silently, and to look around to see if she was there behind me. I was looking up at the tall, old tree when I heard a twig snap behind me. Just like in the horror films. I turned and ran in the same direction, not daring to look back and see her wretched face fixed on my body. I sprinted and sprinted, but slowed down when I saw I was heading to nowhere but a ragged cliff. The unknown would me known if I continued to run and jump. I stopped two metres away from the cliff and looked down to see a valley so far down. If I jump..... I die. If I let her take me..... the unfair horribleness awaits me. I had no choice. I jumped.Complete
Long Lasting Lyrics | UNDER EDITING
UNDER MAJOR EDITING "May is gone forever. She opened the front door and never came back." When sixteen year old July Summer looses her twin sister the week before their sweet sixteen, she is devastated. The whole family are in despair and the new baby comes along making things even harder. Everything is a big change for July as they move to America and she has to do everything on her own, with no guidance from her twin sister. "And that's my twin sister, May. She was fifteen like me in that picture." "Cool." "Not cool," I sighed. "Huh?" "Well she would have celebrated her sixteenth birthday with me in Seltember but she couldn't make it." "Oh? Why not?" He asked, with his chocolatey eyes staring into my glassy, green ones. "She was in the wrong place at the wrong time," I sighed. "Meaning?" He said quietly. "Meaning...." I paused. "Meaning, she was on a road and a car came along and now she's gone," I burst into tears. Things get more complicated when July is introduced to the world of boys, makeup and fashion. Never one of her specialties. She then starts falling for her best friend's boyfriend and has no idea how to stop. The boy with the shaggy, blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. The boy with his guitar and songs. 'The song was beautiful. Each word whispered through me and the long lasting lyrics refused to end,' ---------- Book one out of a four book series Highest ranking ~ #7 in sorrow *LANGUAGE WARNING* *WARNING* This book deals with issues such as Self Harm and Depression.Complete

I raised up the knife with full force and dragged it close to my neck. I was about to slice it but a soft pleading voice inside me cried. This is the first time I'm attempting suicide. I never knew that something like this would happen. My life was what thousands of people are wishing for but I guess nothing is permanent. Rich parents... perfect grades..... Perfect looks .... Cara, aren't you ready? My aunt, Joke barged into my room and asked...... Wait, what's that in your hands?? You want to kill yourself?? She rushed to me and slapped the knife from my hands. What's all this? If you're not careful, I'll take you to a boarding school across the country! As if I care, I replied icily. I expected her to continue talking and start lecturing me, I was already planning to ignore her but she suprised me by saying "Be ready in ten minutes" then she left. Her parents died...She got sent to a boarding school because of her behaviors hoping she'll stop..... Blending into the new life She finds a reason to live Only to be betrayed Turn the pages of the book to find out.
