Today is the day.

The day that I had been preparing for my whole life. Or, well, the last three months that I've know about it at least.

Today was the day I was leaving dreary old Florida, where you could wear booty shorts on Christmas, and where that little thing called snow, is a myth.

Today was the day that I was packing up and heading to Maine for two weeks with my older sister and her nicotine addicted best friend.

Today was the day, that I would be one step closer to crossing one more high school bucket list item off.

Kara Studwick is your average girl. She doesn't stick out, she doesn't flirt, and sadly, she hasn't kissed a guy in three years. After breaking up with her boyfriend of five months who refused to kiss her, she finds out that she's going to Maine with her sister and friend. A plan hatches as she gets ready for her vacation. A plan to kiss a total stranger- in the snow.

Follow Kara on her trip, as she encounters flat tires, frozen roads, and stolen kisses.

SECRET & SCARS

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
