Thalia McTanna is the new detective on the block. Fresh out of the Academy with less than stellar grades, she has found herself working with the infamous Alfendi Layton....as his assistant. Thalia and Alfendi are thrown into a whirlwind of cases in the enigmatic Mystery Room, armed only with with the brilliant (yet questionable) mind of Alfendi and a reconstruction device. Can Thalia make it through the cases that are thrown at her? Will she find out what really makes Alfendi tick?
