The Key to my Heart

"Amelia," Zach whispers soothingly, "You mean everything to me, you have my heart in my hands."
He brushes his fingers along my back sending shivers down my spine. He gazes longingly with his deep hazel eyes, and leans toward my face until our breaths mingle into one. My eyes flicker to his inviting, tempting lips, and I lift my chin up creating less space between us. "Take my heart, Amelia, you always had the key." He closed the little distance between us and brushed his lips against mine.

If you took a one glance at Amelia Rios, you would assume that she was a normal college student living a monotonous life. But then you would be quick to assume. She had a secret, a secret she will take to the grave. Because when she touches someone's hand and looks into his or hers eyes, she instantly knows what the purpose in their life is, what is the most important to them. She can see something that keeps the person ticking, the key to their heart.

But she never found her key to life or her heart. When she meets Zach Walker, an annoying but deviously handsome colleague it takes a lot of will power to not fall for him. Because she knows how something that gives meaning in your life can also be your destruction. But Zach is not one to quit and won't give up that easily.
