Laurel Samantha Soberano Lance is not your average nineteen-year-old girl. She's a cousin of a Fil-Am actress/singer, Liza Soberano and the best friend of Russell Reyes, a nineteen-
year-old who is famous for being in the sensational band, BoybandPH. She's also a YouTuber, had qualified for the World of Dance, made millions of money from her collection of fanfictions and books and is also four years ahead in school, which makes her qualified to work.
Yeah, yeah. Lucky girl, that's what everyone calls her.
But, look carefully. Everyone has a story.
Lost her parents when she was only eight, she found the lost happiness she shared with her parents with her best friend. But, why didn't things work out for her? She and her aunt Juliet was forced to move out of Skokie, Illinois. And also out from America. Nobody wants to go to jail for staying there illegally. Did she say goodbye?
No. She didn't even have the chance to write a letter. Laurel left without a word.
Everyone keeps the pain deep down. Everyone hides it with a fake smile.
Laurel, especially, thinks that nothing good comes her way.
So what happens when life goes around? And Laurel and Russell meet again?

DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. I was awakened by a buzz, but I don't want to get up, instead I lay still on my bed and about to dream again when I heard a THUD, I flinched at the sound. It's Saturday so I'm not expecting anyone at this early in the morning. I'm not a morning person, I am now annoyed to whoever it is. "Coming!" I yelled and started walking which took me sometime because I literally took my time, don't blame me I'm still sleepy, I opened the door to see a very beautiful woman, she has long wavy hair, thick eyelashes and pink pout lips and lastly... a body to die for. I frowned when I realized a high-school student? I can say because she's wearing a uniform. What is a beautiful high-school girl doing here knocking at my door? I asked mentally. I was about to ask her when she suddenly slipped inside my condo and sit on the couch cozily, I crossed my arms and face her still frowning. "Miss what are you doing here? What do you need?" I asked her curiously. She looked at me and smiled, a smile that can make men drool, but I'm not because I'm still annoyed. "I am your girlfriend" she said sweetly, my eyes widened in shock, I know I'm drunk last night but I don't remember having a girlfriend. I was about to say something when she stood up and face me leaning so much closer that were inches apart. "You wished for me, last night on the internet" oh crap! Now I remember!
