"And stop chewing your nails!" I smacked her hand from her mouth. "I'm tryin' to help you grow them out."

Kiera giggled. "Sorry. Guess I'm a little nervous."

"For what?" I playfully shoved her. "There's nothing to be nervous about! It's just us!"

Kiera returned to chewing her gray and purple painted fingernails. "Them." She nodded off to the side. I looked over and saw a group of boys talking to each other, not to far from us.

I rolled my eyes. I took a pony tail holder off one of wrists and tied my hair up. "Them? You got nothin' to worry about." I adjusted the straps on my sleeveless. "Now. Where were we?" Kiera gave a small smile and returned to her playing, singing along with me.
