Adelyn Mantoro was usually the miss perfect of life. She never did anything wrong, really. But on her eleventh birthday, Adylen is given the gift of... a boy who she will be forced to marry in five years. Adylen spends some time with this boy and realizes he's a stuck up boy who really ought to be taken back to Earth. You see, some special humans who are either very rich or very important get the privilege of living in a different dimension that can be opened on Earth. Anyway, Adylen tries to explain to her parents that she couldn't possibly marry someone like him. Apparently one step out of line was too much for her parents, and when she talks back to her father, she is sent away to Saint Chrystal's School for Deranged Girls, a school where no girl would ever want to go. SHE teams up with six girls who where also misplaced there and finds out that life isn't all sugar plums and princesses like it is in the other dimension.
