Rewrite of Leaving For the Better - A Naruto Neglect Fic Time doesn't always mend wounds Naruto and Heiwa live their lives. With less of their friends this time, they don't know if they'll make it. History has to correct itself, though doing so brings tragedy upon our heroes. Miracles do happen but only in movies. Notes: A few OCs, redeemed Sakura, Naruto has siblings, might get depressing, Kushina and Minato live, Mito and Naruko are Naruto's sisters Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. I'm only writing this for your entertainment.

The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine. Needless to say, the blonde kage wasn't expecting so much time to have passed. Nor is he very impressed with the way the village has been treating his son all these years.
